IT has emerged that, former Kerry Senior Hurling Manager, Eamonn Kelly, will become the new Offaly manager, he is set to be ratified at the next County Board meeting on Tuesday night.
During his two years in charge, the Tipp man, won two Division 2A titles and negotiated Kerry’s promotion to Division 1B, this year along with Christy Ring Cup which insured Kerry would play in the Liam McCarthy Cup in 2016.
Kerry and Offaly will face each other next year in the preliminary round of the Leinster Championship. It is reported that Kelly, has given travel time to training from his home in North Tipperary, as one of the main reasons for the move.
Kerry GAA will announce Eamonn Kelly’s successor at the next meeting of the County Board.
