WITH just days to go until it kicks off, the full schedule of events for the Tralee Food Festival has been revealed.
The festival takes place from this Friday and runs until Monday with a mouth-watering line-up of events to savour. It begins with the launch night at Lotties in The Ashe Hotel on this Friday night at 6pm with ‘beats and birdcages’.
The Artisan Food Markets in the Square take place from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. This will feature some of the best producers from the region while there will be music and entertainment in the Square.

There will also be street food vendors present on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 10pm on The Mall where people can enjoy gourmet burgers, wood-fired pizzas, hotdogs, burritos, nachos and much more.
The Taste Trail is a festival favourite and over 20 venues will be taking part from 12noon to 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday.
Booklets containing 10 tokens can be bought for €22 from Tech Co. on Dominick Street, Ugly Mug coffee shop on Edward Street and The Glasshouse on Edward Street.
Another addition this year is a Foodie and Family Day, sponsored by Yummy Cafe, on Dominick Street on Sunday from 11am to 4.30pm.
There’ll be Kids Donut Decorating at 11am and from 2pm there’s kids entertainment with their favourite Disney characters from Little Rosebuds Pamper Parlour, a big disco and three cookery demos from local chefs. See a brief timetable of events below…
