Fundraiser Held In Memory Of Great Supporter Of Fenit RNLI Raises €13,430

Proceeds of a recent fundraiser presented to Fenit RNLI on Saturday.

THE proceeds of a recent golf classic held in memory of a great friend of Fenit RNLI was presented to that organistion at the weekend.

Enda Mullen from Dublin had a special affinity with Fenit as his mother hailed from the area. Every year he collected substantial contributions from friends and family in the capital as well as his brother in Switzerland.

Just last December he was in Fenit to make a presentation of €5,000 but sadly he passed away just weeks after that visit.

A group of Enda’s close friends decided to organise the Enda Mullen Memorial Golf Classic in aid of Fenit RNLI in August and it was a massive success raising €13,430.

The amount raised was testament to the high esteem in which Enda was held and the cheque was presented to Fenit RNLI on Saturday. All at Fenit RNLI wished to thank all involved in raising the funds.
