GARDAI in Tralee are appealing for witnesses after an escooter was stolen in the town centre.
On Wednesday last, March 1, the owner of an escooter locked his property to the bicycle stand in The Mall at 2.40pm
When they returned the lock was on the ground and the escooter gone. Gardaí say the thief must have used some tool to cut the locks and are appealing for anyone in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact them at Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

Separately, Gardaí are also advising people to lock their cars after a spate of thefts from vehicles in Tralee last week.
A suspect was arrested after three incidents in one part of town after they gained access to unlocked vehicles. Gardaí say car owners need to be vigilant and make sure to lock their vehicles.
