Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Traffic Collision On Tralee-Listowel Road

GARDAÍ in Listowel are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the N69 on Wednesday evening.

Gardaí and emergency services responded after two cars collided on the N69 at Banemore, Listowel, around 9 pm.

A male passenger in his 20s from one car sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Kerry where he was pronounced deceased this afternoon, Thursday.

Three other individuals were taken to hospital for assessment and treatment, their injures are not life threatening.

The N69 (Listowel to Tralee road) has since reopened to traffic after examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The local Coroner has been notified.

Gardaí urge witnesses to come forward. Road users on the N69 between Tralee and Listowel yesterday evening from 8:30 pm to 9:15 pm with camera footage, including dash cam, are requested to provide it to investigators.
