Gardaí Investigate Burglary And Criminal Damage Incidents In Tralee And Fenit

GARDAI in Tralee are appealing to the public for information after two burglaries in Tralee and a criminal damage incident in Fenit.

A burglary took place a house in Clogherbrien between 6pm on Friday November 16 and 11pm on Sunday, November 18. The owner of the property returned home to find the rear kitchen  window was forced in and items taken.

The other burglary took place at Monalee estate on Friday, November 23 between 10.30am and 8.15pm. The owner arrived home to find the door open and a safe was removed from the house.

Also, in Castleisland, an elderly couple arrived home to their house in Church Street to find the back window smashed and cash taken. The burglary took place on Friday, November 23 between 6.15pm and 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, in Fenit on Sunday morning at around 7am, a black Volkswagen Golf crashed into another car, smashing the back window. The driver then sped off. If you have information relating to any of the above incidents, please contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
