Gardaí Investigate Burglary And Theft Incidents In Tralee Area

GARDAI in Tralee are investigating a number of burglary and theft incidents in the Tralee district over the past few weeks.

A premises in Ardfert was burgled sometime between June 15 and June 28. Two Honda lawn mowers were stolen. Gardai are asking if they were offered lawn mowers for sale to contact them.

Between June 21 and June 24, six drums of diesel were taken from a site in the Killerisk area of Tralee.

Also, a person was at an ATM in Tralee at 3.45pm on Tuesday, July 2, with the intention of withdrawing money. However, they forgot the money and when they went back to the ATM to retrieve the cash it was gone.

While the machine usually takes back the money after a period of time, when the person checked their account it showed the money was gone, so someone must have taken it.

Gardai are checking CCTV but are encouraging the person to return the money or if there are any witnesses to contact them at the Garda station.

On July 6 at 7.20pm, a person came home to Clogher Failí in Tralee to find a vehicle in her driveway. Two males exited her house and fled in the black Seat car. Jewellery and other items were taken.

Gardai are asking people in the Caherslee area if they saw anything suspicious to contact them at the station on 066-7102300.
