Gardaí Investigate Thefts And Burglaries In Tralee Area

GARDAI in Tralee are seeking any public assistance with their investigations into thefts and burglaries in the Tralee area.

On Wednesday, July 31, between 11.45am and 1.30pm, a house in Oakpark was entered via a rear window. The house was ransacked and although no damage was caused, a substantial quantity of cash was taken.

On the same day on Racecourse Road, between 10am and 11am, a house was again entered via a rear window which was forced open and jewellery was taken.

Between 6pm on Saturday, July 27 and 7am on Monday, July 29, a shed was entered at a premises in Ballyseedy and a large amount of tools — including hand-held drills and saws — were taken.

Between July 14 and July 31, a ten foot by five foot Murphy’s builder trailer was taken from a yard at the Mile Height area. The owner had just installed a chequered floor, it had dropdown sides and could be turned into flatbed trailer.
