WELL done Lidl Ireland.
After hearing that the Bumbleance charity were robbed at the Ploughing Championships yesterday, the German Supermarket giant has stepped in and donated €5,000 to the charity.
Medical equipment and bandages were taken from presses in the incident which Tony Heffernan described as a set-back.
Bumbleance, the brainchild of Tony and Mary Heffernan from Keel, is a charity which has a specially designed ambulance for sick children who require transportation between home and the national treatment centres, hospice and respite centres.
Bumbleance thanked Lidl in a tweet below.
