THE annual Tony O’Donoghue Memorial Walk will return once again on Saturday, April 13, marking it’s tenth anniversary.

Last year the walk, in memory of the much-loved man from Blennerville who passed away in 2014, raised €5,000 for Donal’s Den at the Palliative Care Unit, adding to the tens of thousands of euro which have been raised over the years for Kerry Hospice.

The walk, organised by his daughter Andrea, will set off at 4pm from Blennerville Windmill and all funds raised will go to the Palliative Care Unit.

Afterwards it’s back to Skelper Quanes for a great evening of entertainment.  Ross Brassil will play from 5pm to 7pm and Inish will play from 7pm to 9pm.  DJ Mick will finish off the night with a mix of the 80s, 90s and 00s tunes.

Seamus O’Sullivan Butchers will provide tasty burgers for everyone after the walk. All are welcome to a great day and night so mark the date in your diary.
