MET Eireann has issued another Status Yellow Rainfall Warning for the entire country, but it looks like Kerry will escape the worst of the rain and we’ll just have showers.

The warning is valid for all of Friday until Saturday at 3am. Heavy thundery downpours will give high totals of rainfall in short spaces of time today/early tonight leading to localized spot flooding.

However, judging by the rainfall radar on the Met Eireann website, Kerry doesn’t look like getting that much precipitation.

There’s better news for tomorrow, with dry weather and some sunny spells predicted all day. But that’s as good as it gets this weekend, as Kerry will be hit by some very heavy rain on Sunday afternoon, so expect another rainfall warning to be issued.

In fact, it looks like it’ll be far worse down in Kerry than in Dublin on Sunday aftenoon, so you’d be better off heading to Croke Park for the match! Early indications are that next week will see a mixed bag of showers and sun on most days.
