A LEADING bookmakers has Jack O’Connor the clear favourite to return as the Kerry senior football team manager.
Paddy Power believes the ‘third coming of Jack’ will be the most likely recommendation from the Kerry GAA sub-committee formed last night tasked with finding the next manager.
Jack is 5/4 for the top job, followed by another former Kerry boss, Eamon Fitzmaurice at 5/1. Seamus Moynihan is 6/1 for the nod followed by outgoing manager Peter Keane at 7/1.

Rachael Kane, spokesperson for Paddy Power says: “With former manager Jack O’Connor already throwing his hat into the ring (again), he leads the betting at 5/4 favourite, proving it’s better the divil you know as far as the odds are concerned.”
“But should the sub-committee decide to embrace a lesser known evil, Tyrone’s Joe Brolly is a 500/1 shot to land the job,” she adds.
Here’s the odds in full…
Jack O’Connor 5/4
Eamon Fitzmaurice 5/1
Seamus Moynihan 6/1
Peter Keane 7/1
John Sugrue 8/1
Donie Buckley 14/1
