COUNTY CLEAN-UP DAY:

The annual County Clean-Up Day has been launched and everyone in the county is being asked to get involved and play their part. Now in its seventh year and with the support of Kerry County Council and KWD Recycling, the County Clean-up will take place on Saturday, 13th April. We at John Mitchel’s will be taking part in this initiative and we will be calling on members to volunteer a little of their time on the day….

GO FOR LIFE

Go For Life is going to keep going. It has been successfully run for six weeks at Ballyseedy and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Due to demand Trevor has agreed to continue with the Friday morning exercise/games programme. Come and join the fun at 10am. Ring 086 1611061 for more information.

CLOTHES COLLECTION:

We have joined up with St Vincent De Paul to rise much needed funds for both John Mitchel’s and SVP. Vincent’s charity shops are a very important aspect of the service SVP provides. Not only do they provide people with new and lightly worn items at affordable prices, they also provide an income source for the Society, which is recycled directly back into the community.

By donating your second-hand clothes and unwanted items to your closest charity shops, not only will you be freeing up space in your home, you will also be making a difference to people in need, in your community.

We now have an SVP clothes bank in our car park at our state-of-the-art sports facility in Ballyseedy.
