UNDER 6 BOYS AND GIRLS
Our u6 boys and girls continue training every Sunday from 11 to 12 and they are all making fantastic progress and improving each week. Their hard work and excellent coaching are definitely paying off. Keep up the good work everyone.

UNDER 8 BOYS

Juvenile training as always, every Sunday morning from 10.30am to 12.00pm

All Newcomers Welcome!! Don’t forget folks we have lots of blitz’s coming so kids keep on practicing!!

Training continues every Sunday morning 10.30am to 12.00 everyone welcome.

LADIES

Training continues on Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm. Well done to Ashleigh Murphy and Sarah Kilgallen who played with the Kerry U21 ladies in the Munster League against Cork recently.

Congrats to our under 12 Girls team who had a fantastic win recently in the Final against Kilcummin. A brilliant display all around. Final Score Mitchels 2.7 to Kilcummin 3.3.

SENIORS

JOHN MITCHEL’S SUMMER CAMP

John Mitchel’s Summer Camp 2019 registration forms are now available at our reception.

We would ask any parents interested in registering your child/children to please do so asap to avoid disappointment thank you.

The Camp will run from Monday July 15th to Friday July 19th 9.00 am to 1.30pm.

Price per child €50.00

Siblings €30.00 each.

SPLIT THE BUCKET

A new fund-raising initiative, known as ‘Split the Bucket’ has begun on Sunday Mornings at Juvenile training. You quite simply put €2 in an envelope with your name and phone number and place in the bucket.

The winner gets 50% of the total collected, with the other 50% going to the Clubs juvenile development fund. Looking forward to your ongoing support.

JOHN MITCHELS GYM

Oliver Coffey has now taken over the running of the Gym at John Mitchel’s Sports Complex. For more details regarding facilities, membership options, and fitness programs to suit all, contact Oliver on 086 1939534.

CLOTHES COLLECTION:

We have joined up with St Vincent De Paul to rise much needed funds for both John Mitchel’s and SVP. By donating your second-hand clothes and unwanted items, not only will you be freeing up space in your home, you will also be making a difference to people in need, in your community.

We now have an SVP clothes bank in our car park at our state-of-the-art sports facility in Ballyseedy.

NEW WALKWAY

A fantastic new facility has now been added at our grounds in Ballyseedy.
A new walkway/jogging path approx. 1km long has been laid, complete with bollard level lighting.

Come and enjoy a fabulous experience in a safe and healthy environment.
This community facility is open to all and is free for a limited opening period. A reasonable membership fee may apply at a later date.
THIS IS A SMOKE-FREE ZONE
A STRICT NO DOGS – NO CYCLING OR NO STUDDED FOOTBALL BOOTS rule applies to the walkways.

BINGO:

Our bingo continues on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights @ 8.30pm in our premises on the John Joe Sheehy Road.

Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the club and all funds raised from the bingo goes directly back into the club and all support is greatly appreciated. Any member who wishes to volunteer can do so by giving their details to any club officer.

JOHN MITCHEL’S SPORTS COMPLEX:

Our sports complex at Camp Ballyseedy is available for bookings on the Sports Hall and All-Weather pitch. The complex is also open for children’s parties. For further information contact the club reception on 066 7197070.

MERCHANDISE:

Please note that all club merchandise is now available for purchasing only through Hennebery’s sports shop, Ashe St. Tralee and is no longer for sale at our complex in Ballyseedy. Please also note that our club colours are – green and gold jerseys, white togs and green and gold socks.
