JUVENILE ACADEMY
Yes, another storm last weekend but ”Dennis” didn’t stop the future Kerins O’ Rahilly’s young players from training. Thank you to the parents and children for attending .
All ages enjoyed themselves as always under the supervision of our enthusiastic and qualified coaches.
There was huge focus on various skills required and the children really enjoyed learning and improving their skills as they practised last Sunday followed by fun and friendly games to put the skills to practise . All ages were asked to practise various skills at home during the week, so why not take 5-10 minutes each evening if you can with your child.
Juvenile Academy training continues in the Kerry Sports Academy next Sunday, 23rd February at 12 noon. New members are always welcome and can join

U12 BOYS
The Town League begins this Saturday. As changes have been made in all divisions, fixtures have been changed so we are waiting for the new fixtures to come out in a day or two. A text will be sent once all details are confirmed. Training continues from 7-8 in the complex Wednesday evening.
U14 BOYS
The U14 Gealtacht blitz which was due to take place on Sunday last was cancelled due to “Storm Dennis”. They are expecting to reschedule to a later date. Town League begins on Sunday next but we have a bye in the first round. Training continues in Mitchels Friday evening from 7-8.
U16s
The boys are hoping to be back training on Wednesday evening. Details will be sent via text very soon. Central region is expected to begin mid March.
REGISTRATION
Registration took place on Saturday last. We had a good turn out despite the weather. For anyone who didn’t make it I will be at the start of all training sessions this week for anyone who hasn’t already registered. Cost is €40 for one child or €65 for two or more up to u16 (boys) or u10 (girls). Thank you to everyone who has registered so far.

The North Kerry League commences on Tuesday March 24th when we are away to Churchill.
Indoor training continues next Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
U14 GIRLS
The Co. League kicks off in four weeks time. More details to follow during the week.
U16 GIRLS

GAELIC4TEENS
On Sunday our coaches travelled to LIT for day 1 of the G4T program. All coaches who came were enthusiastic and came with an open mind. They picked up so much from the various coaching styles, understanding the teenage player, how the girls should have fun and enjoy their football. At the end of the day it’s all about the players. They are our number one!
