“We all know someone who has been taken care of here. It is something very near to our hearts . We are doing this in memory of those we have lost and in appreciation of the great work carried out by the wonderful, dedicated staff in the Palliative Care Unit, UHK,” said Adrian.

“We are looking for everyone within our club and community to take on the challenge – family, friends, areas and communities. Record your dance Strand Road style , wear club colours and use footballs if you wish,” he added.

“Many young people’s social, emotional and mental well-being has been impacted by the pandemic. When we are able we want to go all out and treat and spoil our juveniles. It has been tough for them and we are proud of how  well they have been managing. We want to get  the kids, friends, parents , grandparents out there and have a bit of fun!”

They have set up a GoFundMe on Kerins O’ Rahilly’s Facebook page for our fundraiser. It can be accessed by clicking here. Donations may also be made in Jimmy Moran’s Shop in Strand Road.
