KERRY College of Further Education and Training is holding its first Open Week event from Monday, March 2, to Friday, March 6 at its campus locations in Tralee and Listowel.
It is a chance for parents, school leavers, job seekers, career changers, those who wish to re-skill or up-skill and guidance professionals to see the range of full-time and part-time courses for employment, college progression, professional development and apprenticeships on offer.
A number of events are planned across the week in all campus locations. Clash Road are holding Open Days on Tuesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 5 from 9am to 2pm and on Wednesday from 5pm-8pm.

Listowel Campus is holding a tours and open day on Wednesday, March 4. The Monavalley Campus is open all week for tours and is holding an Apprenticeship Information Event at 4pm on Wedneday 4th of March with other events such as a Build Your Own PC Workshop – open to Senior Cycle Students and for the first time ever – Stonecraft Tours of their stonecutting, stonemasonry and stonewall construction facilities.
Teachers, Tutors, Instructors, Guidance and Support Teams, Students, Apprentices and Employers will be on hand during Open Week to chat about career options and answer any career related queries visitors may have.
Second level school groups are invited to visit during the week. Guided tours of the campus will be held between the hours of 9am and 3pm daily. Times differ depending on the campus location.

Our Monavalley Campus in Tralee is open all week for school tours and walk-in visits. It’s your only chance this year to gain access to and see our incredible range of workshops, technical training areas, meet our expert instructors and explore your career options in apprenticeship and skills based courses for employment.

Drop in and meet our team and see our range of courses for third level progression and employment. Prize Draws, Student Hang Out Area, Animal Road Show, Concert, Science Lab Experiments, Software Development & Gaming activities, Sports Massages and a range of interactive demos and activities. OPEN DAY: LISTOWEL CAMPUS
Wednesday 4 March, 9am-12pm for tours, 1pm-7pm for Open Day.
Come visit us, meet our team and see our range of employment and progression focused courses. Chat with Adult Guidance/KAGIS, IT Tralee will have information on college progression, Dept of Social Protection (DEASP), Credit Union, Citizens Information, MABS, BOI/AIB/TSB, Jobs Club, Grants Information / SUSI will also be in attendance.
