THERE was a Kerry winner at the VIP Style Awards in Dublin last night.
The who’s who of the Irish fashion and showbiz world were out in force at The Marker Hotel for the lavish affair, including Aidan O’Mahony who was supporting his Dancing With The Stars buddy, Dayl Cronin, who was crowned Man of Style.
But it was Ballyheigue man, Don O’Neill, who won the Favourite Irish Designer Award, beating the other nominees Paul Costello, Helen Cody, Joanne Hynes, Umit Kutluk, Emma Manley, Simone Rocha and Helen Steele.
Don, who is based in New York and is the Creative Director of THEIA, was understandably delighted as he celebrated with husband Pascal Guillermie. Well done Don!
