Kerry Fans Advised To Travel Early On Saturday For Munster Finals

WITH just days to go until the Munster football finals, here’s a few things to know before travelling on Saturday.

The Kerry minors are in action at 4.30pm with the senior game at 7pm so the advice for patrons is to arrive early and avail of the many parking offers available in Cork City Centre and near Páirc Uí Chaoimh. It is also strongly advised to use the various public transport options to get to the stadium.

There will be no parking at the stadium and its environs. Tow away will be in operation. Residential estates near the stadium will be barriered off and stewards will be on duty.

Blackrock Hurling Club on Church Road, Cork Camogie Grounds on Castle Road and Cork Constitution Rugby Club next to Páirc Uí Rinn are all providing parking for match patrons. All three are just a short walk from the stadium.

Bus Éireann will operate a shuttle bus service from Lapp’s Quay to Monahan Road. The shuttle bus service will operate with a ten-minute frequency, commencing from Lapp’s Quay at 3:30pm and will operate until final departure at 7pm.

The fares are €2.30 Adult Single and €1.30 Child Single. The shuttle bus does not operate post-match for health and safety reasons. Spectators will be subject to a bag search so they are asked not to bring backpacks or large bags.

Tickets are now on sale at the following prices – Adult Stand Pre-Purchase: €35.00, Adult Terrace Pre-Purchase: €25.00, Juvenile Stand & Terrace: €5.00, Student/Senior’s will receive €10.00 concession with valid ID at the designated stile prior to entry. Adult prices increase by €5.00 at midnight 22nd of June. Tickets are available for purchase in the Kerry GAA store Killarney, via gaa.ie/tickets and in participating Centra and Supervalu Outlets.

The Kerry GAA Supporters Club will take coaches on Saturday, but all seats must be booked by tonight (Thursday), the times are the following; Listowel 12 O’Clock Tralee 12.30pm Killarney 1 O’Clock.
