Kerry Senior Footballers And Hurlers Back In Action In October

THE GAA has revealed the revised schedule for the return of senior inter-county football and hurling this autumn.

The last two rounds of the Allianz Football Leagues will be run off on the weekends of October 17/18 with Kerry travelling to Monaghan and October 24/25 where they play Donegal at home. There will not be a final, the winners will be determined by who finishes top of the table.

Kerry will play Cork in the Munster SFC semi-final (knockout format) on the weekend of November 7/8 with the winners progressing to the Munster final on the weekend of November 21/22.

Should Kerry progress, they will play an All-Ireland semi-final against the Connacht champions on Sunday, December 6, while the All-Ireland final is scheduled for Saturday, December 19.

The hurlers are also back in action against Antrim in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A final on the weekend of October 17/18. They start their Joe McDonagh Cup campaign on October 24/25 (round 1).
