WE’VE another Kerry song everyone!

This time it comes from ‘The Kingdom Krew’ who have recorded an eight-track CD, ‘Sam’s Comin Home’, with all funds raised going to the Recovery Haven cancer support centre in town.

“I’m a neighbour of Dermot Crowley who is heavily involved with the centre,” said the man behind ‘The Kingdom Krew’, David Buckley from Barrow.

“We do a charity song every time Kerry are in the All-Ireland final and asked me would we have Recovery Haven as beneficiary this time,” said David.

The song, ‘Kerry For Sam’, was recorded in Pat’s Trax in Causeway last week and the CD comprises of songs from other All-Irelands down the years. The song itself is to the air of Eddy Grant’s ‘Give Me Hope Jo’anna’ giving it a Caribbean feel.

It’s available from Horan’s Health Food Stores throughout the county and Caball’s Toy Shop in Tralee.

A video for the song was recorded yesterday at The Oyster Tavern by Jim McCarthy of Digimac Photography and has been seen over 5,000 times since it was uploaded to Facebook yesterday.
