Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year and best wishes for 2022.
Attached, please find notice of our upcoming A.G.M. on Friday 28th January 2022 at 6pm in Nagle Rice Community Centre. Any motions for the A.G.M., together with nominations for officer positions, are to reach the Secretary, Susan Sheehan, Cloonmore. Castlemaine, Co. Kerry or via email on secretary.milltowncastlemaine.kerry@gaa.ie by 5pm on Monday 10th January 2022.
Due to Covid-19, mask wearing and covid certificate will be required for attendance at the A.G.M. We will be monitoring H.S.E. Covid guidelines and if there are any changes, we will inform all our members closer to the date.
Also, if you know of any member who hasn’t received correspondence, please let me know and I can contact them with the details.

Operation Transformation
We are nearly there as Operation Transformation 2022 starts this Wednesday on RTE. Our Milltown/Castlemaine GAA OT Group will be out for their first walk of the year on Wednesday evening at our brand new Walking Track sponsored by Mid Kerry Veterinary Centre.
This Wednesday evening there will be an optional weigh in, a fun warm up with Mags and our first walk of the year.
Walks are also to take place every Mon, Wed and Friday evening from 7.30 – 8.30pm (we are currently in the process of organising a morning walk too)
To get involved please make sure to first contact Danny on 087 653 6631. Whether you would like to join our group or help out organising the group we would be delighted to hear from you.
Pitch Maintenance
Please note that the main pitch and training area 1 are temporarily closed for maintenance. When visiting the grounds to play football or train please use training pitch 2 (behind the goals). Many thanks from the pitch maintenance team.
