Sympathy:

This past week, Milltown Castlemaine lost a great stalwart with the sad and untimely passing of former senior player, Mike Dennehy. In the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s, Mike was a lynchpin midfielder in a team that set the trend that for the present day crop of footballers.

Mike saw his son Donal firmly establish himself on the Milltown Castlemaine senior team, while another of his sons, Michael, also made his senior debut earlier this season.

The club extends its deepest sympathy to Mike’s wife Noreen, his sons Donal, Michael and Jack, his mother Joan, brothers Jerome and Donal, sister Mary, cousins friends and neighbours. May eternal peace and happiness be yours Mike.

We continue to remember all those, young and old, who are sick in our community and beyond. We hope that you will all return to good health in the near future.
