All here at Milltown/Castlemaine GAA wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of the late Weeshie Fogarty.

Everyone who listened to Weeshie, met him at a game or knew him personally will agree he was a true legend of both the broadcasting and GAA worlds. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and Legion club mates.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories Weeshie, may you rest peacefully.

Save the date: Friday November 30th 2018 @7.30 p.m. …….and just over a week to go to our AGM.  It is such an exciting time to be part of our GAA Club here in Milltown Castlemaine with the tremendous work being done at present.

The development of our new ‘all weather’ training and playing surfaces, along with a state of the art gym, clubhouse and walking track will ensure that the present and future generations of our community will have the best possible facilities available to them.

There is no better time to become involved. If you would like to be a part of the executive or any aspect of the club, why not get in touch with our club chairman Podge Leane or coaching officer Ian Twiss. Remember your small contribution could make a HUGE difference.
Hoping to see you on the night.

A huge congratulations to Beaufort who advanced to the Munster Final of the Junior Championship last Saturday with another comprehensive victory over their opponents. Well done to you all.

And yet again we had another match 3 winner in our Fundraising Lotto Jackpot Draw. This time the lucky winners of €300 were Deirdre and John O’Sullivan Congratulations to you both and sincere thanks to all of those in our community and far beyond who support us week in/week out.

Our next draw is on Friday November 30 th -just 3 weeks before Christmas… it sure would be a brilliant time to win some money.  We will have a jackpot of €5,800 along with a match 3 pot of €200 up for grabs.
So head on out and buy your ticket to be in with a chance- available at local businesses in Milltown Castlemaine and Ballyfinnane.
