The club extends sympathy to Bernie and Denis Griffin of The Plough Bar on the recent death of Denis’s father John.  May John rest in peace.

Kerry Minors:

Best of luck to Peter Keane (Keane’s Supervalu, Killorglin) and his Kerry Minor Panel in Croke Park next Sunday. Let’s hope we will see the return of the Tom Markham Cup for the 4thconsecutive year to The Kingdom. Ciarraí Abú!

Mid Kerry O’ Sullivan Cup:

Congratulations to our senior team who have reached the final of the above competition versus Laune Rangers.

They overcame Glenbeigh Glencar on Saturday evening last on a score line of 1:13 to 1:10. Date and venue of the final to be confirmed. Well done to all.


Hard luck to our minors who were defeated on Monday evening last in their semi- final versus Castlegregory, in the Central Region Competition. There was some fantastic football played by both sides with some an excellent display of kicking points from both teams. Final score was 2:17 to 1:08.

Under 14: Our under 14’s were defeated by Laune Rangers in round 5 of the Mid Kerry competition on a score line of 3:10 to 1:106

Under 12: Our Under 12’s were triumphant over John Mitchel’s in the Central Region. Final score was 4:15 to 1:05.

Lotto: We had no winner or match 3 in our latest lotto jackpot draw  worth €16,000. Draw took place on Friday last in The Plough Bar. Special thanks to Bernie and Denis Griffin of The Plough Bar for their hospitality.

Our lucky consolation prize winners were:

€50 each to D.  Breen. Killarney and Eileen and Gerard O’Connor. Milltown.

€25 each to Emma Flynn. Tulligmore, Lisa Barrett and Bridget Conley. Dromin Farmhouse, John and Deirdre O’ Sullivan. Dromin East and Miriam Ryan. Knockbrack.

Special thanks to everybody who continues to support our fundraising Lotto through the selling and purchasing of tickets.

Our Lotto Jackpot is now €16,200.

The next draw will take place on Friday September 22nd -with €650 on offer for a match 3.
