All Ireland winning minor captain David Clifford will be at the GAA field on Thursday evening next to meet and greet our young players. We will also be taking team pictures for our club calendar. Please wear your club top if you have one .
Cumann Na mBunscoil:
Congratulations to Kiltallagh National School, Castlemaine on reaching the final of the Mid Kerry 2 Teacher Competition. They had three victories over Boheeshill, Curraheen and Douglas. They were defeated by Fybough NS in the final. Congratulations to them.
Well done to our Coiste na nÓg secretary Eileeen Lovett for co ordinating the competition and to Mike Hickey and Amy Foley for refereeing the games.
Kiltallagh NS panel included Darragh Kelliher, Rachel Boyle and Garrett O’ Dowd from our own club. Other panel members were Frank Wharton, Cathal Moroney (captain),David Scally, Richard Boyle, Sarah Lynn Wharton, Ellen O’ Sullivan, Patrick Sheehy, Leanne Griffin, Johnny Horgan and Rory Orme.

Mid Kerry Under 16’s:
Congratulations to the Mid Kerry U 16’s on their fantastic victory over Kenmare District in the Lee Strand Co. Championship Plate Final, played on Sunday last in Austin Stack Park, Tralee. We are very proud of club players Dylan O’ Neill, Sean Hogan, David Leane , John Dennehy and Martin Foley who all played their part in this wonderful victory. Well done to their management team too!
Under 10 Annual Blitz:
Well done to Our U.10 team who played some brilliant football on Sunday last.
Special thanks to Linus,Paud ,Mike, the referees and all the helpers that assisted in making the blitz such a success. We had some amazing parental/ guardian support on the sidelines. Sincere thanks to you all.
Up-Coming Fixtures:
The Mid Kerry Minor Championship Semi Final will take place on Sunday October 8th at 2 pm with extra time playable. Beaufort will host Milltown/Castlemaine.
In the Mid Kerry Senior Championship Semi Final on Saturday October 14 th , Milltown/Castlemaine are at home to Glenbeigh/Glencar at 2.30 pm with extra time playable.
