Our club held its AGM on Friday night last. While the numbers attending were few, it was encouraging to see a few new faces.
We look forward to a new year- we are sure it will once again be a very busy one both on and off the field. As always , we appreciate any volunteers. So if you want to lend a helping hand, let us know.
The following were elected as our officers for the coming year:

President -John Burke
Vice Presidents- Tom Griffin, Jimmy Boyle, Danny Roberts, Thomas O’ Connor, George McAuliffe, George McKenna and Jackie Kerins.
Chairperson -Podge Leane-Vice Chairperson-Damian McCarthy.
Secretary-Mike Carroll, Assistant Secretary:Eileen Lovett

Treasurer- Colin O’Grady
Assistant Treasurer /Lotto Co-ordinator Eileen Spring.
PRO-Deirdre O’ Sullivan. Assistant PRO: Danny McClure
Health and Wellbeing Officer- John Hegarty
Coaching Officer/Race Night Co-ordinator-Ian Twiss

Field Development – Emmet Spring.
Coiste Na nÓg Chairperson and secretary respectively- Damian McCarthy and Eileen Lovett.

The executive will appoint a Child Protection Officer in the coming weeks.

We wish outgoing officers  Larkin Ann McCarthy, Tomás Barry, John Joe Harmon and John Murphy all the best and thank them
sincerely for their contribution to our club.

Club Calendars:
Our club calendars will be available for purchase in local businesses mid week.
They were a big hit last year-proving to be a lovely Christmas present. Once again, they are very colourful with some lovely team photos of all ages from under 6’s to seniors.

Race Night:
Excitement is building for the club’s annual fundraising Race Night – scheduled for this Saturday December 2 nd, in Knightly’s Bar, Castlemaine.
Helen is always a wonderful host and will be serving finger food on the night. With tote betting available for all the punters, you just might strike it lucky and back a winner!

This is always a great pre festive night -so dress up, you just might win the best dressed prize Ho ! Ho! Ho!


Our next Fundraising Lotto Jackpot Draw takes place on this Friday December 1st in The Castle Inn Bar, Castlemaine. Imagine winning or sharing €17,200…

Fleadh 2018:

Milltown Listry Comhaltas are holding their 1st of six quizzes on this Friday-December 1st, in Larkins Bar, in aid of bringing Fleadh Cheoil 2018 back to Milltown. Prizes for the winners on the night and also for the winners of the 6 quiz league over the next six months.
