THE Kerry Mental Health And Wellbeing Fest has kicked off with a host of events taking place around the county over the next week.
The festival coincides with World Mental Health Day on Tuesday, October 1o.
A fundraising breakfast with Kerry Captain, David Clifford and Mayo footballer, Pádraig O’Hora took place this morning on in the Great Southern Hotel, Killarney for #tiedayfriday while Miss Kerry Leah Galloway organised a fundraising coffee morning at The Lakeside Cafe at Tralee Bay Wetlands from 11am to 1pm.

If you’re feeling energetic and want to get out and enjoy the fine weather over the weekend, The Human Chain Challenge on Strickeen in the Gap of Dunloe takes place between 9am and 12pm on Sunda with registration taking place at www.KerryMentalHealth.ie/human-chain-challenge.
Kerry Peer Support Network would like you to join them for a “Looking After Our Mental Health & Well-Being” Coffee Morning in Rahoonane Community Centre from 10:30-11:30am on Wednesday, October 11.
Chakradance Workshops are taking place in Siamsa Tire in the coming days, ‘Taking Care of Mental Health’ is an event at Madden’s Cafe Tralee.
It’s a workshop for 18 to 25 year-olds and it will give you the space to explore what mental health means, what can influence our mental health, ways to care for mental health, and to learn more about where you can get support.
