General Manager of Oakview Village Childcare, Clodagh Moynihan, with the Best Private Creche in Ireland award which the centre received on Friday afternoon.
A TRALEE childcare facility has won the Best Private Creche In Ireland honour for the second time, at the Maternity And Infant awards 2014 ceremony in the Hilton Hotel, Dublin, this afternoon.
It’s the second time Oakview Childcare has won childcare’s most prestigious national award, the having previously collected the top prize in 2011.
“We’re absolutely delighted, we’re the only creche from outside Dublin to ever win the award,” said General Manager, Clodagh Moynihan. “Creches from all over Ireland were up for it but that was whittled down to shortlist of 16. We then had an inspection at the end of August,” she said.
“The staff are brilliant everybody works so hard in the centre. We’re a great team,” said Clodagh.
Oakview Childcare Centre has been in business since 2008 and employs 15 people.
