Participants will learn how to write Press Releases that get publicity, identify and connect with key contacts in target media, commission photographers, models and graphic designers and build their personal brand on and off line.
Course includes free PR handbook for each recipient with tips on writing news releases, planning events, managing social media, creating your own personal brand online and list of key contacts within the Irish media.
Orla Diffily has over 25 years experience in PR and event management and is a graduate and full member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
She worked for leading multinationals and top agencies, before setting up her own consultancy Upfront PR in 1995. She also founded Kerry Fashion Week and co – produced the Ireland Fashion Showcase in New York in association with Irish Design 2015.
For the past 3 years she has presented a weekly fashion focussed feature on Ireland’s top afternoon programme the TODAY show on RTE. She also manages PR and organises events in Ireland and abroad for consumer and lifestyle clients.
