PETROL prices have seen a big drop on this time last month.
Last month the cheapest price per litre was €1.28.8 in Applegreen stations at Fairies Cross and Manor Village. Now the price has dropped to €1.21.8 in both stations and that priced is matched by Top in Caherslee.
We did our monthly check of prices at stations around town early on Thursday afternoon and discovered a five cent per litre difference between the dearest and cheapest.
Interestingly, all four petrol stations on the road from the Horan Centre to Manor West have exactly the same price for petrol and diesel (€1.22.9 and €1.07.9).
