THERE was much to celebrate at ‘The Rock & Rose Victory Social’ held last night in The Rose Hotel.
Members of the Austin Stacks GAA club gathered for a celebration of the six trophy successes in 2019, while the mood was buoyed further with the victory for Tralee CBS in the Corn Uí Mhúirí on Saturday afternoon, as the panel featured a number of Rockies, including captain Sean Quilter.
Last year, the Stacks senior football team won the Kerry Senior Club Championship, Division One of the County League the Tralee District League and the District Championship, while the C team achieved a double success by winning both the County Junior League and Championship and the Barrett Cup.

The night began with a champagne reception followed by a delicious meal and medal presentations, but there were a number of other awards to be handed out on the night.
The Senior Player of the Year was Joe O’Connor. The B Team Player of the Year was Paul Galvin, C Team Player of the Year was David Courtney, Ladies Player of the Year was Jemma O’Connell.
Clubman of the Year was Noel O’Connell, while Clublady of the Year was Carmel Quilter O’Neill. Best Dressed Lady was Breda O’Callaghan and Best Dressed Gent prize was given to Jack Morgan.
‘Heart & Soul’ and DJ Francie Breen provided the entertainment on a fantastic night for the club. Scroll down for photos…
