IT’S been a long time coming but Cillard Camogie Club organised their first social on Saturday night in The Rose Hotel.
The club was founded back in 2006 as a juvenile club, but they’ve all grown up to be seniors now since 2021 so it decided to hold a social get-together to celebrate the achievements of their excellent hurlers.
The club had a phenomenal 2022 winning titles at every grade so there was a lot to celebrate. The minor teams of 2020 and 2022 and the junior winners of the league and championship were there to be presented with their medals by the club’s founding members Margaret Walsh, Nora Mai Mahin and Susan Curran.
A great night then with a delicious meal and DJ Big Jim supplying the tunes to keep the atmosphere going into the night. Scroll down for photos…
