KIRBY’S Brogue Inn was even busier than usual on Friday morning as the local branch of the Irish Cancer Society held a fundraising coffee morning.
“We always have it before Daffodil Day and there’s a great crowd here today. All the money goes to research and training ‘daffodil’ nurses,” said Chris Griffin of the Tralee branch of the Irish Cancer Society.
It was a great social occasion with prizes given out after a raffle.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Daffodil Day and volunteers throughout Kerry will be out in force once again to raise crucial funds to help those affected by cancer on Friday, March 24. Scroll down for photos…
