THEY may be starting a whole new chapter in their lives soon, but there was one last aspect to their primary school lives to complete for last year’s Holy Family NS sixth class pupils.
Nearly 30 pupils and their parents were in Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church for their belated Confirmation Day on Tuesday morning.
Celebrated by Fr Padraig and Fr Amos, it was a scaled back ceremony for the times we live in, but one and all were delighted the day had finally come.
It was also the final Confirmation day for Principal Ed O’Brien who is retiring after 12 years at the school. They picked a lovely day for it too and families happily posed for photos outside the church. Scroll down for photos…
