SATURDAY was a marvellous day for runners with the Tralee International Marathon taking place.
Around 800 took part in the full and half marathon races, sponsored by Kerry’s Eye, which brought a nice economic boost to the town with many people coming down and staying overnight.
The finish line in the town park was the scene of much joy as the runners came home to be congratulated by family and friends.
