A TRALEE-BASED women’s health and fitness business was even busier than normal on Tuesday morning for a special fundraiser for local cancer support charity, Recovery Haven Kerry.

Nutrifit for Women at Princes Street (above Il Pomo Dor0 Restaurant) held a coffee morning where members brought in cakes, buns, pies and scones and there was a great turnout with  loads of spot prizes to be won.

Majella Duignan of the business dedicated the month of October to raising funds for Recovery Haven. As well as a wonderful raffle currently being run among her existing members, Majella has also pledged to donate €10 to the charity for every new member that joins Nutritfit for Women until the end of the month.

Recovery Haven were very appreciative of Nutrifit’s generosity.

“For the past number of weeks Majella, Maria and Conor here have put in a huge amount  of work and effort so we at Recovery Haven want to thank them and all the members who brought the goodies today,” said Marisa Reidy of Recovery Haven.

Majella Duignan said she was delighted with the turnout and so proud that the members are so invested in helping out Recovery Haven. Scroll down for photos…
