YOU know Christmas is very close when the school Christmas concerts/plays begin.
Well yesterday saw the pupils at Moyderwell Mercy begin a three day programme of concerts with families of the participants packing the school hall.
Beginning with Christmas songs from Ms Hanifin and Ms Geaney’s senior infants, things got more lively when from Ms Keane’s second class rocked the hall with ‘Queen In Concert’.

Next up was ‘The Lion King’ from fourth class pupils who gave it their all and finally some lovely seasonal music from the violinists and fifth and sixth class pupils.
The concert continue for Wednesday and Thursday with pupils from the other classes in the school eagerly looking forward to their chance to go on stage. Scroll down for photos…
