WITH glorious sunshine, dazzling costumes and a wonderful community spirit, the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in Tralee was a fantastic occasion with massive crowds in the town centre.

‘A World of Colour/ An Domhan trí Dhathanna’ was the theme of the parade brought to you by Tralee Chamber in partnership with Kerry County Council and The Rose Hotel.

Leading the procession as Grand Marshal were members of St Brendan’s Basketball Club, who are celebrating 30 years in existence in 2024.

The hundreds of participants representing clubs and organisations, as well as bands and performers from the Oliver Hurley School of Musical Theatre, made their way from The Rose Hotel on to Mitchels Road, winding through Boherbee and Castle Street before arriving in Denny Street.

Hosts Jamie Flannery and Sean Crowley provided the running commentary with street performers also entertaining the crowd before and during the parade.

There was an amazing atmosphere throughout the town and the crowds dispersed afterwards to enjoy the rest of their St Patrick’s Day. Scroll down for photos…
