“This year we wanted to open our doors for the public to come to see the service and hear more about our work. Hence we’d like to welcome you to visit us on the 17th of October from 4-8pm in Moyderwell. Coffees and teas will be served and all are welcome,” he said.

Pieta House has launched a Feel Good Week from October 14-27.  The Feel Good week is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for all. This is their nationwide festival of wellness, mindfulness, being active and coming together.

Pieta House works with all ages. A doctor’s referral or a psychiatric report is not required, anyone can make a self-referral via phone, or you can ring them if you are worried about a family member, friend or someone in your community.

As it has been from day one, everything is free of charge and their staff are fully qualified therapists. Pieta House is open 5 days a week and they offer a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service and the Free-call 24/7 suicide helpline 1800 247 247.
