Proceeds From Fundraisers Presented To Kerry Hospice

KERRY Hospice Foundation received a number of cheques in the past week thank to fundraisers in the local community.

Over 60 vintage and modern tractors took part in a tractor run on September 27 from Blennerville out west and raised €1,795 which was presented to Maura Sullivan of Kerry Hospice on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, last week saw young Callum Robertson donate €1,000 to Kerry Hospice after he held a charity headshave during lockdown.

Ten year old Callum did the fundraiser after the wonderful care his grandmother received in the palliative care unit.

Also last week, Catriona Crowley, a physiotherapist in UHK, presented €2,020 to the Hospice, the proceeds of holding pilates classes via Zoom.

Kerry Hospice Foundation thanked everyone for their support and expressed gratitude to the organiser of the three fundraisers.
