‘Puppy Love’ Fundraising Dance Returns To The Meadowlands

THE Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind (IGDB) Tralee Branch has announced that their ‘Puppy Love’  Valentine’s Dance fundraiser will return again this year.

Taking place on Friday, February 9 in The Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, the event has been a huge success in the past with a large crowd attending raising thousands of euros for for the organisation.

It’s an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic night of music, dancing and more while supporting the charity.  With live music by Nitelife it promises to be a fun night, with great prizes to be won and special guests to meet.

Some fabulous puppies-in-training and other IGDB breeding dogs, ambassador dogs and working dogs will also be coming along, ready to meet and greet you and make the night a very special one.

With an annual cost of €5 million, it costs IGDB €53,000 to breed, train and care for one Guide Dog over its working life. 85% of the charity’s funds comes from fundraising.

All efforts to fundraise are vital in enabling their work in #ChangingLives of people who are vision impaired and the families of children with autism.
