RADIO Kerry won the local station of the year at the PPI awards – the radio ‘Oscars’ – in Kilkenny tonight.
The station was up for seven awards at the black tie ceremony at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny, but was unsuccessful with those nominations.
However, the station won the Local Station Of The Year award which is given annually to a regional station.
Radio Kerry won it last in 2014 and this makes it a fifth win in all for the station. Congrats to all.
