Jack O’Connor, Peter Keane and Maurice Fitzgerald are thought to be the frontrunners for the Kerry manager job.

THE new Kerry senior football manager will be put forward for ratification at the next meeting of the County Board on Monday, October 8.

Meanwhile, the Irish Independent is reporting that Maurice Fitzgerald is the new front runner for the job, followed by Jack O’Connor and Peter Keane.

The article by Colm Keys asserts that no decision has yet been made and that O’Connor and Keane have both been interviewed for the position. However, Keys understands that Keane “is thought to have been less willing however to meet some of the criteria set out in that meeting”. See Keys full article here.
