Road Closures In Town For Circus Parade Events

The National Circus Festival Of Ireland parades through the streets of Tralee take place on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon.

THE National Circus of Ireland is taking place in town with the first of two parades this weekend taking place this evening.

There’s a parade taking place from 6.30pm moving up Denny Street where there will be a fireworks display at 7.15pm. As a result there will be temporary road closures.

From 5pm to 8.30pm, the street from Ivy Terrace (at the entrance to Parklands Carpark) down to Denny Street to Lower Castle Street to the junction with Edward Street will be closed.

Access from The Mall onto Ashe Street will be facilitated. There will also be a rolling closure on Ashe Street (from the junction of Church Terrace to R875 Lower Castle Street) from 6.30pm to 7pm.

Then on Sunday, there will be another parade of performers. Therefore, from 3pm to 3.30pm, there will be a rolling closure on Castle Street (from its junction with the road at Moyderwell to its junction with Denny Street) and on Denny Street (from its junction with Castle Street to its junction with Ivy Terrace).
