Brendan’s got off to a great start with some outstanding shooting by Linda Raymond and Katie Costello in the first quarter giving the visitors a lead of 4pts. The second quater saw the home side storm back into the contest with great outside shooting bringing the scoreline at half time to 23-22.

In the third quarter St. Brendan’s upped the intensity putting pressure on St Bridgets with Claire O’Sullivan and Laura Griffin hitting the target. Brendan’s took a six point lead of 33-27 going into the final quarter. Brendan’s ran the bench in the final quarter and added to their three quarter time advantage along with some great defence by Eimear Quaid to secure the win on a final score of 47-39

TRALEE WARRIORS

The Tralee Warriors continued their good Superleague form with a come from behind win against UCD Marian last Saturday in Tralee. We wish them the very best of luck as they continue with a difficult away assignment on Sunday when they take on Griffith Swords Thunder, the team that ended the Warriors interest in the Cup. Tip off in the ALSAA in Dublin is at 3.00pm.
