LEE STRAND KABB CUP FINALS
Congratulation to our Boys U11 Academy team that won the Lee Strand Academy Cup on Sunday after a very exciting final against St. Paul’s A in Presentation Gym, Killarney. St. Brendan’s led throughout, and in a great overall team performance with everyone contributing to the fine display, they got their deserved 37-29 win in the end. Well done to all the boys and especially to coaches Amy and Joe Quirke and team manager Robert Pierce.
Our U14s were unlucky to come up against a strong and determined TK Cougars side in their Cup final on Sunday. Having led at the end of the first quarter it looked like Brendan’s might go on to carve out a win. However Cougars wrestled back the lead before half time and went on to win out on a final scoreline of 47-41. Later on Sunday evening our U18s went down to a very good KCYMS side by 90-48 in the U18 Final.
