2015 Dingle Way Challenge:
The 2015 Dingle Way Challenge will take place on Sunday May 31st. This is the third year of this event, organised by St Pats GAA Club, which promises to be an exceptional day on the mountains, beaches and paths of West Kerry. This year’s event is sponsored by Benner’s Hotel Tralee which is offering great overnight packages for our out of town visitors and will host our social evening for all participants on completion of the challenge. The Challenge is a 40km walk taking participants from the foothills of Mt Brandon around through Ballydavid, Wine Strand, Clogher Strand, Dunquin, Slea Head and finishing in the famous Paidi O’Se’s bar.

The route takes in some of the most incredible scenery our country has to offer with views over the Blasket Islands, the historical village of Dunquin, Slea Head drive and many of the places made famous by the film Ryan’s Daughter. The Challenge is achievable for most people with a reasonable fitness level and we have included an extra Ultra section which begins earlier in the morning for those who wish to test themselves further.

U 10’s:
Our u10s competed in the second round of the go games blitz hosted by Churchill. It was a great performance by all the team against tough opposition. Each player earned the right to proudly wear the St Pats jersey and we are very excited for St Pats future with excellent players such as these. They were fearless in their tackles and showed a keen eye for scores when the opportunity arose
