There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 04, 20, 23 & 27. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Michael Kennedy Derrymore East, Joe, Michelle and Daniel c/o Brendan Poff, Denis O Sullivan Annagh, Trevor and Thomas c/o Jerry and Seamus Foley c/o Quane’s.
Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €5,300 and the draw will take place this Sunday night Dec 17th in O’Dwyer’s Bar.
Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Sheas Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quanes, Bettys Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.
The five €30 Christmas Meat Vouchers went to Brendan and Shannon Quill Lohercannon, Martin, Chissie c/o Betty’s Bar, Mary McMahon Lohercannon, John Kelliher Lohercannon and Marie O’Shea Curraheen.
Bag Pack
We will be bag packing on Thursday, the 21st December. It is a great opportunity to raise funds for your club. There are slots of 1 and 2 hours available in GARVEYS from 11am to 6pm. Blennerville Community Playschool
Mulled wine and mince pie evening, Thursday December 14th at 7pm in St. Brendan’s National School, Blennerville. Bake Sale and Raffle on the night. Proceeds towards the acquisition of a new premises to secure the future of the playschool.
Curraheen Community Christmas Concert
Curraheen Community Christmas Concert, which was held on Sunday evening in Blennerville School was an absolutely over-whelming success.
Fr. Francis Nolan and the organising committee would sincerely like thank the Board of Management, the Principal and the caretaker of Blennerville N.S., the sponsors, everybody that bought tickets for the show, ticket sellers, sound and light management, traffic stewards, the Gardai, CBS Green School and everyone that helped in any way to make this night possible.
A special word of appreciation must be given to Mark Leen who did an excellent job as compere. A huge thanks to the cast and accompanist who provided a fantastic variety show, proving that there is an enormous wealth of talent in the community. All proceeds will go towards the Curraheen Church Community Room Extension.
