Juvenile Academy

U6: We had another energetic session this morning with emphasis on fundamental movement skills & lots of ball work. There was great concentration & effort, particularly by Bruce, Jaden & this week the trophy went to both Jace & Rylan Flynn who really showed good listening & great ball skills! We had fun at the end with the Minor & Junior trophies for future generation Kerry players!!

U8: If the thaw hadn’t melted away the snow by Saturday last then the energy put into the training session by our under 8 players would have melted any snow in the environs of the Gym in Cumann Iosaef Hall on Sunday morning. Great effort was put in by everyone and we saw the competitive edge of Hugh Costelloe, Sharon Enright, James Daly and Isaace Price come to the fore in the catch the ball game. Chloe Passway, Stephen Enright Keelin Sinnott and Aoife Kennedy have definitely been practising their hand-passing skill at home as they showed off their ability last week.

It’s good to see Lainey Costelloe back with us again and birthday wishes were sung to Cian O’Halloran. A big thank you goes to Tommy Costelloe for helping the coaches during the session. Of course we couldn’t finish the session without choosing a Player of the Week and the honour went to Stephen Enright who always brings a bundle of energy to the sessions.

U10: We had a good turnout last Sunday for our boys and girls. Well done to Luke Passway, our player of the week who showed tremendous effort during the session. Don’t forget to keep practicing your skills during the week. Training continues next Sunday at Cumann Iosaef Hall at 11am.

U12: The St. Pats under 12’s Boys & Girls were training last week and everyone put in a great effort practicing their skills at training with Zach Howarth, Diarmuid Waugh, Michael Enright and Aiden Hayes giving it their all during the session. It is important that ye all keep attending training so we’ll be ready for the county league games when they kick off on the 8th of April. We hope to see ye all as training continues on our Astro pitch this Monday 5th of March at 3.45pm to 4.45pm  and again next Friday the 9th at 5.45pm to 6.45pm.

U14 Girls: There was no training last week due to the bad weather conditions, however, training continues this Sunday at 11am on our astro pitch. We encourage all players to attend.

U14 Boys: Training continues this Wednesday at 6pm on our astro pitch.

U16: Training continues twice weekly at the set date and times.
